    • Unless otherwise marked, the iron has been hollow ground on an 8” or 10” white wheel, then honed on a hard oil stone.
    • Back of the iron will be polished
    • Knob and tote stripped and finished with BLO and/or wax if its rosewood. I typically use dark walnut Danish oil on hardwood.

    • Stanley #8C jointer     $170

This has been my personal jointer for the last couple of years. I just bought a type 11 to take its place. I restored this back when I first got it.

Its been stripped and painted, Sole is flat, frog is flat, Iron needed some work, so look at the pictures, but it works great (angle was way to steep, and it hasn’t been ground out yet. A little each time goes away), iron has a small camber
i just refinished the knob and tote this morning, Brush oil and wax. Both are original rosewood
the tote has an epoxied repair (see photo)

I have a Stanley Bedrock 605 plane. I would like to get a better cutting iron for it. That is all I need to have an excellent tool. Do you know where I can get a blade in good to excellent condition?
      Thanks,
      Paul
